Spanish village

Another one artwork from the series "My trip to the Basque country".
The initial one was written on the last day of our trip. My sister was very sad, she was sitting in front of me on the pier, wrapped in a blanket, and listening to music. On the initial idea, I was not going to draw her, but the contrast of her sad mood with a quiet city and pleasant May weather caught me.
The first variant was done in oils (20х30 sm) then I redesigned it to illustration for my book. The final illustration was used in my book "345 dreams" published in July 2018 (publishing house – LLC “Argus SPb”).
